That is the plan given by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in a recent report on the economic – cultural – and social situation in the first 9 months of the year; it emphasizes on the tasks and solutions that need to be done on the last 3 months of 2021 to solve many of the current real estate issues.
Accordingly, the Ho Chi Minh City will remove the difficulties of businesses with the spirit of maximum support, creating the most favorable conditions for businesses to complete investment and construction procedures for many of the current delayed projects; promote and support enterprises to reactivate construction investment and at the same time ensure safety against the epidemic according to the criteria of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
In the last three months of 2021, the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City will review, summarize and gather all the difficulties and obstacles that are facing current real estate businesses, construction businesses and construction companies.
Investment working groups and working groups to remove difficulties and obstacles for investment projects using land that do not use state budget capital in the locality will be established and meet weekly to promptly review and solve business problems and other problems that may arise.
In addition, HCMC will implement the Decree No. 69/2021/ND-CP of the Government on renovation and reconstruction of apartment buildings; to study and develop mechanisms and policies to encourage the construction of social housing, to address housing needs for low-income people, and to overall support people in areas with unsafe living conditions.
